About Code 93
Code 93 is a denser successor to Code 39. It encodes the full 128-character ASCII set using two mandatory check digits for improved reliability.
Valid input
- Encodes A-Z, 0-9, and a set of symbols plus four shift characters that reach the full ASCII set.
- Two mod-47 check digits (C and K) are mandatory - the encoder adds them automatically.
- Quiet zone: at least 10 module widths on each side.
