About Code 11

REFERENCE

Code 11 is a numeric-only symbology once used heavily in telecommunications equipment labelling. It supports up to two check digits but no longer sees widespread use.

What a valid Code 11 looks like

  • Numeric only plus the dash character.
  • One or two mod-11 check digits are appended depending on payload length (two for 10 or more digits).
